Replacement Landing Gear Needed for a 2007 Keystone Montana 3075RL

Question:

Hello, I have a 2007 Montana 3075RL. The front landing gear appears bent and will not operate correctly. I was looking to replace it with the bulldog product #500161 but didnt know if it would be a direct bolt in procedure. If its not compatible i was wondering which landing gear kit will fit my make and model with out any problems. Thank you in advance.

Since the Reese Electric 5th Wheel Landing Gear Set # RP500708 uses the standard landing gear mounting points it should fit directly to your 2007 Keystone Montana 3075RL but you will want to do some double checking before you order.

If you check out the attached picture you can see that the inside to inside measurement of the weld stop is 15-1/2" while the outside to outside measurement is 17-1/2" (see attached picture). If you can verify that this is the same measurement on your Montana then the installation will be a very simple procedure.

The Ultra-Fab Deluxe Electric Landing Gear Set # UF17-943010 has the alternative mounting points. As you can see in the attached picture the outside to outside measurement of the top bracket and middle bracket is 14-1/2" while the outside to outside measurement of the top and bottom bracket is 20-1/4".

All you will need to do is verify where your weld stops, or your current mounting brackets, are mounted. If both of these options differ from what you have then you will need to have a welder come out and put new weld stops in. I recommend going with the Bulldog set if this is the case.
