Cargo Carrier and Bike Rack for a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox
Question:
We want to use a dual hitch, with an extender on bottom for cargo carrier, and a bike rack for two bikes in top of dual hitch - so bike rack would be in front of cargo carrier.. all are 2 inch hitch connections. We wouldn’t have more than 150 lbs in cargo carrier. Is this doable and safe?

I have a solution for you, but this is not a safe setup. Each extension will reduce the tongue weight by 50%, quickly eliminating your cargo carrier's ability to carry much cargo at all.
Instead, I recommend Hollywood Rack's Sport Rider SE2 with Cargo Carrier, part # HR1450Z-85. This kit is a two bike rack with a cargo carrier at the rear. It can carry two 50 pound bikes and 100 pounds of cargo in the carrier, without changing the vehicle's tongue weight. The carrier and bike rack can also be used independently of each other.
