Installation Kit for Reese Signature Series 5th Wheel Hitch and 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 Classic

Hello, Im inheriting a Reese 30071 hitch and hoping to install it in my 2007 silverado 2500hd classic. Crew cab, short bed, LT. Sticker says clearly that its a Reese 30071 hitch, but I cant find any info about it. Manufactured 04-07-04. marketing name is 16K signature series. It also shows 111249 in the corner of the sticker. Can you confirm what the best mounting system is for this hitch on my truck? Thanks!

The Reese Signature Series hitches use an underbed mounting kit like the newer Elite Series that replaced it. For a kit that will fit your 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 Classic short bed you will need installation kit # RP30061. I have linked a video showing an example installation for you.
