Will the MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus # MA00-04500K Restart and Open when it Stops Raining

Will this model Maxair or any other models re-open the cover when it stops raining ?

Yes, once the rain sensor on the MaxxAir MaxxFan Plus # MA00-04500K is dry it will restart the fan and open the lid automatically. If there is any rain that is on the sensor then it will remain closed. My contact at MaxxAir confirmed this.

This roof vent will fit all standard 14" x 14" roof openings and will do a great job at keeping your trailer or RV well circulated. It comes with all of the mounting screws and hardware that you will need, but you will need to purchase the sealant, like part # 0160297, separately.
