Ventline S0721 Series RV Range Hood Installation with the Raised Lip At the Top
Question:
Hi I have a question about the Ventline range hood. I tried calilng Ventline directly and they couldnt answer my questions. I thought Id give Etrailer a try since you have experts on your team. I am looking at the Ventline S0721 and the top has 3 lifted sides, it looks like its meant to slide into an . can you explain why there are a gap on the top of the range hood? with three sides lifted. Am I suppose to have something to slide into the top to secure the range hood? If so, do you sell that? I look forward to your reply. I want to make sure it fits before I purchase. Thanks

The lifted sides like you see on the Ventline S0721 Series RV Range Hood w/ Light - 12V Fan # S0721-22BD-F-1 gives you a gap that in some cases is used to simply allow the wiring connection for the fan and light. It does in some instances require adding some wood to the underside of your cabinet to allow for a clean look and proper installation depth for the mounting holes.
