Recommendation On How To Secure Bikes On Thule Trunk Mount Bike Rack
Question:
Hello, The 2 bikes we have are a Cannondale Synapse and a Trek 7100 Multitrack. I assume the Trek will fit fine, but I'm concerned about the Synapse. Do you know if that bike will need an adapter to fit on the Thule rack?

Expert Reply:
From my research, you should not need an adapter for the Synapse. However, you might for the Trek depending on whether or not it has a cross tube.
If you do not have a cross tube to secure it to the Thule Trunk Mount Carrier, Item # TH910XT, I recommend the Kuat Ubar Adapter For Women's and Alternative Frame Bikes, Item # UB01. This adapter is adjustable, will protect your bike's finish, and connects to your bike's seat post and handlebar stem post.
I have attached additional information and videos to assist you in your project.
