Recommended Replacement Step for OEM Running Boards on 2013 Ford F-150 XLT Crew Cab

I am among many owners of Ford trucks who complain that the factory installed running boards are not very user freindly especially in the northern states where ice and snow and winter boots make using the step almost impossible. Are there any aftermarket mounting bracket kits which would lower the step about 3inch and also extend the step out about 2inch ?

There are not any mounting brackets to assist with your OEM running boars on your 2013 Ford F-150. For a replacement option, I recommend the Bully Alpha Series 5" Adjustable Aluminum Side Step # AS-9000TX. This is the only bracket that I am aware of that has the adjustable option for a custom fit to work with your winter boots.
