Is this bike rack ready to mount womens bikes also?

Technically, yes, you can mount alternative frame bikes on the Swagman Trailhead 2 Bike Carrier, # S63360. However, they will not be level. If you decide to go with a two arm bike rack, I recommend using a Bike Adapter Bar, # 64005, to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video review of the adapter for you to view.

Usually, single arm bike racks with rotating cradles will be able to hold alternative frame bikes without an adapter. One example is the Swagman XP, # S64950. This rack will also fit 1-1/4 or 2 inch receivers and can be used in a Class I trailer hitch (when using the rack on a Class I hitch, capacity is limited to 2 bikes).
