Recommendations for Adding a Front Mount Winch to a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Question:
is there a way to mount a winch on this?

Expert Reply:
Because of the way the Westin Sportsman Grille Guard, # 40-0125, attaches to the vehicle, see instructions link provided, a winch cannot be mounted to the grille guard. The connection method and construction of the grille guard are not sufficient for winching applications.
What you can do is install a front mount trailer hitch, # C31048. This hitch will provide a safe, strong, and secure connection point to the vehicle frame which is ideal for winching applications. You could then use the Electric Winch Mount Plate, # C31010, and mount a winch to it.
