The spring bars of the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution # EQ37041ET are made of what is called chromium-molybdenum alloy steel. Really, that's just a fancy name for steel that has increased strength but higher pliability as well. I've added a link to a video review of this system for you to take a look at.
