Hitch Bike Rack Recommendation for Electric Bikes in 1-1/4 inch Hitch

Question:

Need a hitch rack for a 2003 Honda CRV 1/14inch hitch for 2 eleactric bikes 45 lb each. Long distance hauling. Looking at the swagman XC item #S564650. Any way to beef up from 35 lb. max weight to 45 lb ? Or alternate suggestions? Thx

I have a similar bike rack that has a higher capacity that will work great for you, but there's not way to increase the weight capacity of an XC part # S64650.

The Saris Freedom part # SA4412B is pretty similar to the XC except has a 60 lb weight capacity so it would work well for you. Most bike racks don't have anywhere near this capacity. And the few that due are much more expensive. That's why this rack is your best option. It also fits 1-1/4 inch hitches as well.
