Troubleshooting Prodigy Brake Controller that Stopped Working with Brake Application

My controller has worked flawlessly for the last 8years. Now it wont work with the brake pedal, but works with the Manuel lever. The code on the controller is - - What does this mean?

Can you verify that the red wire of the controller is getting voltage when the brakes are applied? Sounds like the issue is that the controller just isn't getting the brake signal and not knowing when to activate.

If you have a 2000's era GM vehicle check the third brake light fuse. When that blows (and it blows easily on GM vehicles), you'll see brake controller stop working like you described.
