Fastway Weight Distribution System for Trailer with 500 lbs Tongue Weight

Question:

Hi I recently asked a question about the Fastway E2 600 being good enough for my trailers 300 pound hitch weight......made a mistake....My new trailer is now going to be 400 pounds in tongue weight dry. I am assuming that the Fastway E2 600 trunnion will still be good enough for that added 100 pound tongue weight?? I Just need to confirm before i pull the trigger on the wd hitch! Again, going on a 2017 Ford Flex EcoBoost. Thanks a bunch and get back Rockwood 2516g

If your loaded tongue weight is going to be 500 lbs the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution kit part # FA92-00-0600 that you referenced will work great as you are still within the range of the system.

If you are going to go over 600 lbs you'll instead need the part # FA92-00-0800 which is good for up to 800 lbs tongue weight.
