Actually, we do have a video that I think you will find helpful. The truck is a 2010 GMC Sierra 4 door with a short bed. The kit being installed is Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit, # RP50064-58. I have included a link to the video for you to view.

I recommend going with the custom install kit over the universal kit because the installation time is about half. There is also less drilling involved as the brackets are custom made fit the truck.
