Recommended Engine Oil and Transmission Fluid Cooler for 5th Wheel Towing with a 2013 Ford F-150

Question:

I watched the Video on the installation of the oil cooler. It is very helpful. Is there a Video on installation for a 2013 F-150 4X4?

I have exactly what you will need to lower both the engine oil and transmission fluid temperatures in your 2013 Ford F-150 while towing your 5th wheel trailer. For this, I recommend using the Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler part # D15902. As the title states this is a two in one cooler that will drop the temperature of both your vehicle's engine oil and transmission fluid around 20 to 30 degrees fahrenheit.

This cooler measures 17" wide x 12-1/2" tall x 3/4" deep and as long as you have this much space behind your grille and in front of your radiator/condenser it will work well for you. The kit comes with everything you will need for installation. Most customers with at least a bit of mechanical aptitude can install one of them in about 1 to 2 hours. I have attached a sample installation video for you below as well. In the kit are 5 engine oil filter thread adapters, you will want to use the 22mmx1.5" adapter which is the one with a green paint marking.

Unfortunately, we do not yet have an installation video of the Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler part # D15902 on a 2013 Ford F-150. However, the process shown in the attached install video will be very similar to your setup. I have also attached the written instructions of the cooler for you as well.
