can the jack head be rotated to allow more room for a truck tailgate and is a manual jack handle available

We recommend installing per the manufacturers instructions which does not include optional mounting instructions. Regarding manual jack operation, a jack handle is not included. The manual suggests using a battery powered socket driver, but not an impact socket driver. It is also best to unplug the unit so there is no back charging into the electrical system.
