What is the Engine Filter Thread Size on a 1995 Ford F-350 with the 5.8L V8 Engine
Question:
HI looking into buying an adapter that will bolt up to my 5.8l engine, I think the thread size is M22x1.5 but this is indicating a different size. Do you have the correct part number for me to use. Also, the current oem oil cooler from a ford 460 with JIC fitting dont know the ford OEM hose size and no one else does and I want to still use these factory cooler lines. Thanks in advance!

The engine oil filter threads on your 1995 Ford F-350 with the 5.8L V8 engine is indeed a M22x1.5". Therefore, the Derale Low-Profile Sandwich Adapter part # D25772 will work well for you.
I spoke to contact at Derale and they indicated that the engine oil cooler lines on your vehicle should be 1/2" diameter but you will need to check first as it should be stamped onto the lines themselves.
