The Camco Propane Supply Hose # CAM59053 referenced in your question features a Type 1 ACME nut at one end that will connect to ACME or P.O.L. fittings on a propane tank. As long as your 40 pound tank features a standard ACME or P.O.L. fitting (which most do), this will work perfectly for your application.
The other end of the 12 inch long hose has a 1/4 inch inverted male flare that will connect to your RV or propane regulator. I have attached a short video demonstration on this product that you can also take a look at.
