Can Mounting Studs of Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA be Removed for Longer Studs
Question:
I purchased the electronic brake backing plate and shoes, and need to know if the bolts can be removed for a longer bolt. The area where the bolts go to mount to the axle has a design that requires one bold to be about an inch longer than the other 3. Can i just punch it out and install a longer one? Thanks,

The mounting studs of the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA that you referenced are pressed in. If you hammered them out and went with a longer one it would work fine. We don't carry longer studs for this application, but even a nut and bolt could work fine.
