Minimum Tongue Weight for Shock Absorption of Gen-Y Ball Mount to Work
Question:
I have a 2017 Ford F-250 and I pull a 2012 jayco white hawk camper. The tongue weight of the camper is 750 or so lbs. In the write up about this hitch it says a minimum of 1200 lbs of tongue weight is needed to get the shock absorbing aspect of the hitch. Is this correct?

It is correct that for each of the Gen-Y Torsion 2-Ball Mounts that we carry, such as # 325-GH-1224, the minimum tongue weight needs to be 1,200 lbs
