Shank Adapter for a Kuat 1-1/4 inch Bike Rack
Question:
I have Kuat bike rack, 1 1/4 and a 1 1/4 hitch. I have changed cars and now have cadillac xt5. Is there anyway that my current set up can be adapted to meet the requirements of the 2 inch hitch the Cadillac requires . Thanks

You can adapt most Kuat racks with their Shank Adapter, part # D101. This will enlarge your shank from 1-1/4 inch to a 2 inch shank.
This adapter is compatible with the Alpha, Beta, NV 2.0, NV Base 2.0, Sherpa, and Sherpa 2.0 racks from Kuat. It is NOT compatible with the Kuat NV 1.0/Original bike racks.
