Installing a Replacement Hinge on the Thule Hyper
Question:
I bought the TH14936 because one of the questions asked was will it fit on the Hyper 612XL.inch The information about the hinge indicates it will snap on a ball and socket, but the old one has a fitting for a screw that I cant get out to put into the new one. Did I purchase the wrong part? Thanks!

You did purchase the correct part # TH14936 The fitting screw should be removable by pulling the screw away from the hinge's bottom connector.
You also may be able to force the screw out from the rear with a phillips head screwdriver and a hammer to quickly remove the screw.
