Can Econo Porch Trailer Step with Handrail and Landing EHS-102-R be Placed Sideways Next to Trailer

Question:

I have a narrow space for stairs where I keep my trailer next to my house and using them in a direct approach would be too far out into the walkway and would run into the airconditioning unit. Can I use them as a side approach? I would not be able to open my door fully and latch it back, but I would be happier if I found stairs that worked and could give up the door folding back all the way. What is your opinion on this possibility?

Since the Econo Porch Trailer Step with Handrail and Landing # EHS-102-R is free-standing you could place it next to the trailer anyway that works out best for you. Any other steps that come straight out would have the same issue that you have now so having this set "sideways" is a viable option.

This set of steps is approximately 28 inches wide overall so provided you have that much space available you can certainly use these steps. I have linked a video review of them for you.
