Ladder Rack Recommendation for a 2007 Toyota Tundra with 5-1/2 Foot Bed and Deck Rail System

If I was to remove the track tie down system on my 2007 Tundra SR5 with a five and a half foot bed would the flip down rack then work

We do have some ladder racks that will work with the track system in your 2007 Toyota Tundra with 5-1/2 foot bed but the Detail K2 ladder rack is not a fit.

The Rola Haul-Your-Might ladder rack # 59799 fits your truck and will actually use the track system to mount to the bed. This, in part, gives the rack an 800 pound capacity. There is no drilling required to install this ladder rack.

If you remove the factory track system from your 2007 Toyota Tundra then yes, you could then install the Detail K2 Flip Rack Fold Down Ladder Rack # K2TFR150. With the rails out of the way the ladder rack clamps will be able to fit where they need to go. I have linked a video review of the Detail K2 ladder rack for you.
