The Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90885 and the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 are both excellent choices for your 2015 Land Rover Defender 90. The P3 is the newer version of the P2 with a larger LCD display which is easier to use and read. For the exception of this variable they are essentially the same. I recommend going with the P3 as you get the newest available features for a small increase in price.
I do have a way for you to install either the P2 or P3 on your Defender 90 but a plug-in adapter does not exist. In order to install either of the above controllers you will first need to install the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller part # ETBC7 which will give you everything you need to make the brake controller work on your vehicle. The kit comes with a circuit tester to help you find the correct wires and a trailer connectors with both 4 and 7 way trailer connection points.
I have attached a review video on the P2 and P3 brake controller for you as well.
