Why Would Brake Controller Activate When Door is Opened
Question:
I have a 1998 Ford F-150 I have connected your product to my truck. Running a test light all is good. When I open the door a redlight come on, when I close the door and open it again and it goes out. It comes on at times while driving and either hit the turn signal or brake and it goes out. Any ideas?

Try disconnecting the red wire for right now and see if the problem goes away. Most likely you have it ran to the wrong circuit.
You need to verify that the controller is connected to a circuit that only sees voltage when the brakes are applied and none when released. Other possibility is that the red wire is shorting to a different circuit so make sure there isn't any exposed wire that needs to be addressed.
Also check to see if your brake lights are functioning properly on your truck. If they are somehow shorted to the interior lights (check by see if third brake comes on when door is open or with blinker) then that would be the issue.
