Will 2 Gauge Wire Charge Battery of Trailer Wire Ran From Vehicle Battery
Question:
We ran a 2 gauge wire from the truck battery to the trailer battery. Will that keep it charged? or what is the best way? We were told that running it from the truck to the dump trailer pump would work but it doesnt.

2 gauge wire is very thick and would be able to carry enough amperage to put a decent charge on the trailer battery. It would be about as much of a charge as what a vehicle alternator could put on the battery.
