Thule Roof Rack and Roof Bike Rack for a 2017/18 Subaru Impreza

Hi I just purchase a new Subaru Impreza sport 5 dr wagon 2017-18 model , my vehicle did not came with the factory rail , it’s just a plain roof top with fix point to mount rail for a roof rack. I would like to know which model from Thule roof rack is compartible with my car . An also which bike roof mount carrier would you recommend for the roof rack? Please

For your 2017 Subaru Impreza, I recommend Thule's AeroBlade kit, as its the best bang for your bucks in terms of durability and usability of Thule's line of roof racks. This kit consists of:

Thule WingBars, parts # TH711200 for silver or # TH711220 for black
Thule Podium Foot Pack, part # TH460R
Thule Podium Fit Kit, part # THKIT3158

This will install onto the fixed points of your roof and allow for you to equip a wide range of accessories onto your vehicle's roof using either clamp on or channel mount accessories.

For a roof mounted bike rack, I recommend going with a wheel mount kit like the Thule UpRide, part # TH599000, because you don't need to remove or store the front wheel when using this kit. The Thule Sidearm includes integrated locks and universal mounting clamps that are compatible with your new bars.

The UpRide can also switch its orientation for the passenger or driver's side, making loading easier.

I recommend purchasing a 6 pack of locks, part # TH450600, and keying your bike rack and roof rack alike for added security. This kit includes the 6 lock cores, two keys and the control key needed to switch the unlocked locks out and insert the new ones.
