Recommended Trailer Hitch Back Rack To Use Behind 1999 Coach House RV w/ Spare Tire
Question:
I was wondering if you have a hich mounted rack that will work with Coach House RV. There is a tire mounted on the back and I do not know if the hitch will bump up against the tire, and will the bikes work with the tire? Thanks,

I do have hitch mounted bike racks available that are designed to be used on the back of an RV or motor home, but the item you selected, Thule Apex 2 Bike Carrier, part # TH9024XT, is not designed for use behind an RV.
For a bike rack that will work, I recommend the Swagman XP 4 Bike Rack, part # S64940. To determine if the XP will clear your spare tire, you will need to measure from the center of your hitch pin hole to the farthest edge of the tire. If this measurement is less than 12-1/2 inches, you will be able to use the Swagman XP.
If you will be carrying womens, childrens, or alternative frame bicycles, I recommend the Swagman Alternative Frame Bike Adapter, part # 64005. The Swagman Adapter will allow you to carry those types of bikes level on your bike rack.
