Can Thule Aeroblade Edge Roof Rack for 2015 Volkswagen Golf Sportwagen Allow Moonroof to Open
Question:
The question has been asked twice whether the Thule Aeroblade Edge would prevent the Moonroof from opening on a 2015-present Golf Sportwagen with rails and there seems to be two conflicting answers. One says no problem, the other says it could be if the moonroof opens higher than the side rails. Has either been confirmed?

I checked with Thule and for the Aeroblade Edge Roof Rack part numbers # TH7501B-TH7502B that you referenced this is the fit tip they offer regarding the moonroof:
"Thule does not recommend opening, venting, or retracting the sunroof/moonroof/glass roof while the rack is mounted. Damage to the glass and/or opening mechanism can occur."
