Comparing Thule Hitching Post Bike Rack to Curt Premium 5 Bike Rack
Question:
For a 2018 subaru forester, getting a hitch mount 4 or 5 bike rack. any reason why I would pick a Thule Hitching Post Pro - Folding Tilting 4 Bike Rack Code: TH934XTR instead of Curt Premium 5 Bike Rack for 2inch Hitches - Tilting C18065 thanks

The Thule brand of bike racks is basically the nicest brand around when it comes to racks in terms of quality and function. They pretty much own the market in a lot of ways. Curt is a newcomer to the bike rack world and they come in more as an economical option that happens to be pretty solid too.
For the money it is really tough to beat the Curt hitch bike rack part # C18065. The Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR is a bit nicer in a couple areas though so it really comes down to how often you'll be planning on using the rack. Biggest difference is stability. The Curt allows quite a bit more movement in the hitch and between the moving parts of the rack when travelling so that's the biggest advantage that the Thule has.
The Thule rack has a limited lifetime warranty too whereas the Curt only has a 1 year limited warranty. Also replacement parts are very easy to come by with the Thule and with the Curt it's much more difficult to find replacement parts.
