Recommended SuperSprings Front Suspension Enhancement for 2016 Forest River FR3 28DS

Question:

Thanks for the recommendation. I ordered them. One more question, what would you recommend for both F/R anti-sway bars?

For your 2016 Forest River FR3 28DS, I recommend the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SSF-170-40-2 for your front axle. These springs are made for models ranging from 16,000 to 22,000 lbs. These springs will mount both on top and bottom but are not connected. They will absorb the road shock, but will also allow full axle movement so you will have the best steering ability and traction.

For the rear, I recommend the SumoSprings Maxim Custom Helper Springs # SSR-187-40-1. These springs will attach at both the top and bottom to restrict movement and help control body roll. They will help level your ride working independently and will minimize sway. They are made for chassis ranging from 16,000 to 18,000 lbs, so they will be a perfect fit for your motorhome.

This combination for the front and rear will give you noticeable difference in the ride of your motor home. They require no maintenance and are an easy installation. Let me know if you have questions about this recommendation or any other products.

Happy to help. For the anti-sway bars for your 18,000 lb Forest River motorhome, I recommend the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar for Motorhomes # RM-1139-148 rated for 15,700 to 22,000 lb chassis. For your rear anti-sway, I recommend # RM-1139-146. This is the correct fit for 18K chassis under 33 feet long. These bars will help with crosswinds, passing motorists, and shifting cargo. If you decide you want a steering stabilizer as well, # RM-RBK22-RSSA is the correct fit for your motorhome. With your suspension and anti-sway you will have a very smooth ride, and adding steering stabilization will also give you the comfort of driving when roads are uneven, there is rut tracking, and even a worst case tire blowout. This system works to keep your rig centered, so driver fatigue is lessened.
