Recommended Hitch Adapter for Class I Hitch Compatibility of Kuat Sherpa 2.0 for 2 Inch Receiver

Hello, I currently own a Kuat Sherpa 2.0 rack that I use on a Rav4, the receiver its a 2. I would love to use the same rack on my Honda Civic 2013 but I notice you dont sell a Hitch Receiver for that car with a 2inch are there any chances that I can make this work with a converter like the Item MT70355

All of the 2013 Honda Civic trailer hitch receivers are a Class I so that will be limiting and the center of the hitch pin hole to the outermost part of the bumper is about 4 inches. That means the MT70355 adapter will not be compatible as it only has a 3 inch ability and is also only confirmed to fit Class II hitches.

You can use the Hitch Adapter 1-1/4" to 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # HTAD to make your Kuat Sherpa 2.0 # SH22G compatible with your Class I hitch. This hitch expander is rated for Class I use. You will limit the tongue weight of your hitch by 50% so you will reduce it's capacity to 100 lbs total for bikes and bike rack.
