Availability of Bracket Kit for Installing Base Rails on a 2016 Ram 2500

Question:

do you guys sell just the custom fifth wheel brackets for a 16 ram 2500? I already have the rails and hitch in a 01 dodge ram 1500. thanks for checking on this

We do have just brackets for 5th wheel base rails that are compatible with your 2016 Ram 2500. To ensure that they work properly you will want to get brackets that are the same brand as your base rails.

For example, the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails Kit # RP56009-53 uses the Quick-Install Custom Bracket Kit # RP50054, while other brands have slightly different mounting brackets. If you can let me know what brand your base rails are I can help you get the correct brackets, granted we carry that brand.

You will also need the Replacement Hardware Kit # RP58430 to mount your base rails to the mounting brackets. Whenever you remove the hardware from a trailer hitch or 5th wheel base rail kit you will need to use new hardware as the included hardware is meant to only be torqued down once.

If you don't already have a 7-Way installed in the bed of your 2500 you also may be interested in the Bargman # 50-97-410. This will make connecting and disconnecting the wiring from your 5th wheel trailer much easier.
