Is there such a thing as a 4000lb rated 16 inch rim 6 x 5.5.

Our range of 16-inch trailer wheels with the 6-on-5-1/2 bolt patterns are shown on the page I linked for you. These include conventional steel types like Taskmaster's silver-powdercoat wheel # TA73VR rated for 3500-lbs and HWT's machined aluminum wheel # AM22658HWTB rated for 3580-lbs.

The actual weight rating of a trailer wheel/tire combination is determined by the lower-rated of the two parts, wheel or tire. Whichever one has the lower weight rating determines the overall capacity of the combination.

We offer wheels intended for the RV and recreational trailer user but higher-rated wheels may be available from other sources like industrial or agricultural suppliers.
