Compatibility of Yakima Skybox NX 16 Mounting Hardware on Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform Accessory Bar

Will this Yakima sky box fit this Rhino Rack combination? Not sure if the Yakima clamp opens wide enough to go over the accessory bar

The mounting hardware for the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Rooftop Cargo Box # Y95AV can fit on a roof rack bar up to 3-1/2-inches wide x 1-11/16-inches tall. Based on your photo (thank you, it helps a lot) it does appear that your setup's combination of factory crossbars and the cargo platform's add-on bars will be too tall.

If you measure the combination of bars and find that their combined height is within the above spec then you should be okay. It is essential for your and other motorists' safety that the Skybox hardware is fully secured. Please refer to the photo of the hardware that I linked for you.
