Will Thule Gateway 2 Trunk Mount Bike Rack # TH9006 Fit a 2006 Infiniti FX-35 and how Does it Attach

How does this fit on this type of vehicle? Do the straps go underneath the bumper or on the bottom of trunk door?

On the 2006 Infiniti FX-35, the Thule Gateway 2, # TH88VR, will fit. The lower clips will fit in the bottom edge of the trunk/hatch. The top clips will fit in the gap at the front edge of the top of the trunk/hatch. The lower arm of the rack will rest in the area between the license plate well and the upper tier of the bumper. To carry women's bikes or bikes with sharply angled top tubes or step-through frames, using a frame adapter like part # TH982XT is recommended. The adapter spans the distance between the seat post and the handle bar gooseneck, and provides a level attachment point to the bike rack so the bike has greater ground clearance and is not carried at an angle.
