When installing the Kat's Heaters Custom Fit Engine Block Heater # KH11813 on your 2017 Toyota Corolla, you will need to first clean the cartridge hole (after locating it on the engine block) of all debris. Kat's does recommend coating the cartridge with NSCG silicone grease G-624 before inserting it into the block. The grease is not included.
I did confirm with my contact at Kat's that this will fit the 2017 Toyota Corolla. According to Kat's, this will install in the Rear Left (RL) position on your block. You can check out the image I have attached to see exactly where this is.
