How to Prevent Sway When Towing a 35ft Travel Trailer

Question:

I believe I am slightly over tongue weight. I have researched air lifts to strengthen the rear suspension. Do you have experience with those? I don't remember if ETrailer offers them or something similar

I looked in our system and i see you have a ordered previously the 1500lbs bars.
If the system is setup correctly, and is not damaged or worn then something else is wrong.
You may need to check the tongue and trailer weights again and make sure you are not
overloading it. Also you need to make sure you are not over the capacity of your truck,
depending on how the truck is equipped, it may be. Are the trailer weights that were
provided with the trailer loaded?

Most 2015 F150 Lariat, 2WD, 3.5L Ecoboost, has a tounge weight of up to 1500lbs and a gross towing capacity of up to 11,700lbs. Please confirm with your owners manual.

No problem, we are here to help. But, yes you are correct, suspension enhancement should be the addition you need to safely carry your load. I recommend Air Lift Ride Control Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle # AL59570. It will provide your Ford F-150 with up to 2,000 lbs of load-leveling support, reducing strain on your rear suspension and improving both safety and ride quality. This product is designed to keep your vehicle level when you are hauling a heavy load and will improve steering and braking performance. Honestly, the suspension enhancement does not increase your tongue weight. Also if your WD system is rated and set up correctly, the air bag kit may not be necessary. If your truck is overloaded, then your options may be to decrease the trailer's weight or get another truck with a higher capacity. I have attached a video to show how this product works and how it installs.
