Trailer Harness 7-Way to 4-Way Wiring Adapter for a 2002 Ford Explorer

I am buying a used Wells Cargo Trailer that is wired to a G M product and I have a 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Track that has a 7 way round trailer connector round pin the trailer has a 3 pin wire harness probably for break lights, turn signals and running lights

I am not familiar with a 3 pin trailer connector. I am assuming you have a 4 pole (4 pin) that has 3 male and one female pins. If this is the case, you will need a 7 way to 4 way adapter, like part # PK12716.
