Tailgate Assist Options for a 2014 Ram 2500

I have a 2014 Ram 2500. Any reason that the Hopkins tailgate lifter will not fit?

I do still have an option that will help with lowering the tailgate on your 2014 Ram 2500 but the Hopkins EasyLift Truck Bed Tailgate Lift Assist part # 74211 which helps for both lifting and lowering will not work with any Dodge Ram made after 2009. In 2010 Dodge began to reinforce the walls of the tailgate and add extra reinforcements in certain areas which will just simply not allow the Hopkins EasyLift to seat properly.

The only other option they make for your truck at this time is the DeeZee Tailgate Assist Custom Tailgate part # DZ43301 which is a confirmed fit and will help tremendously with lowering the tailgate on your truck. I have attached an installation video of this product on a similar truck for you as well.
