Recommended Trailer Tongue Weight Scale for Precise Measurements and Convenience
Question:
Hi. Im interested in the Sherline tongue scale. Do you also sell the 1000# pound capacity unit? It would probably be more accurate for lighter trailers. Steve Kight

The etrailer Trailer Tongue Weight Scale - 2,000-lb Capacity # e99044 is the only independent scale we currently carry for trailer tongue weight. It will be just as accurate as the 1000 lb scale you referenced. The dial gives the 50 lb markers, so you can easily determine within at least 25 lbs the weight of your trailer tongue with just a quick glance.
Another option is to use the Weigh Safe 2" and 2-5/16" Hitch Ball w/Built-In Scale - Stainless Steel - 10K GTW # WSUN-1. This hitch ball doubles as a scale. The measurements are less precise with this due to the marks being close together and hash marks only at 100 lb increments. It is really convenient to always have your scale ready however.
