Tire Recommendation for Trailer that is Size ST235/85R16
Question:
I currently have LT225/75-R16 E 10 ply tires on my toyhauler as specified by the manufacturer Holiday Rambler. GAWR/FRT-5360 GAWR/REAR-5360. I run the tires at their max pressure of 80 psi and still have failures about every two years, which is quite frequent considering I only take the trailer out 6 times a year. The rims are 16 x 6 and tire measures 29.4inch OD. I want a higher load rating tire, like a G. I currently still have two new LT225/75-R16s on the trailer and would like to get at least some use out of these tires. Can I match the LHWL410 on one axle and leave the good LT225s on the other or do I need to change out all five tires including the spare?

You really need to run all the same size tire on your trailer at all times otherwise you may experience wear on the larger tire size and you may also have an unstable ride.
The part # LHWL410 is a tire size of ST235/85R16 and will do a great job as it is a Load Range G like you said you wanted which means the capacity is 4,400 lbs at 110 psi, has a speed rating of 75 mph, and comes with a 2 year roadside assistance program.
If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
These also come with a 5 year warranty. Which is great considering the typical shelf life of a trailer tire is 4-6 years.
