The brake kit you choose would not be based on the GVWR of your boat trailer, but on your axle capacity. The 3,500 lb # AKEBRK-35-SA is designed to work with an axle that has a capacity of 3,500 lbs and a 4 bolt mounting flange bolt pattern; they work with wheels that are either 13", 14", or 15". These brakes are 10" diameter x 2-1/4" wide so you would need a hub that they fit in as well.
I have attached a link to a help article on parts needed to add electric brakes, as well as a link to our page with our selection of brakes, though if you get back to me with your axle's weight capacity, mounting flange bolt pattern, wheel size and inner dimensions of your hub I would be able to find exactly what brakes you need.
