Point of Contact When Making Turns with Curt Overbed, Folding Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch
Question:
Hello I have a 02 Chevy Silverado 1500hd short bed and I need to install a gooseneck hitch. Will I have any problems with point of contact using above the bed hitch when making turns?

I reached out to the manufacturer regarding your question. They replied that because of the extended hitch head on the Curt Overbed, Folding Ball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # C61341-52 on any traditional truck bed set up (6-1/2 and 8 Foot Beds) there should be no issues with the point of contact using above the bed hitch when making turns.
