Recommended Tonneau Cover for 2007 GMC Canyon with Drop-In Over-the-Rail Bed Liner

Question:

will this unit fit a canyon with an over the top bed liner ? i do realize i would need to drill?open a hole to accommodate the clamp to go into under the rail , but do you think the clamp is tall/ wide enough ? if this would not work , do you have any suggestions on a tonneau cover roll up that would work in this situation ? thank you.

Tonneau covers install in one of two ways/locations; either inside the bed rails as with the TruXedo Deuce 2 # TX743301 or on top of them as with Bestop EZ Fold # B1615201. Both of these covers fit the 2007 GMC Canyon with 6-foot bed.

A drop-in plastic liner will tend to interfere with both types but the Craftec Hatch-Style Tonneau Cover # 252134 is your best option since it is compatible with over-the-rail bed liners. Some cutting of liner will be required, as you noted. If you have the 5-foot bed then instead use cover # 252734.

For a 6 foot bed you can use Tponno Pro # TP42-103 folding cover.
