Parts Needed to Convert 7k Trailer Axles to Electric Over Hydraulic
Question:
I have a 8 lug 7 k axle trailer ... Im thinking of converting to electric over hydraulic. Im not finding a kit on your site ... do you have anything. Or any sugestions?

For the disc brake assemblies you would want the Kodiak 7k disc brake kit part # K2HR712D. This is confirmed as a fit for your 7k axles and is Dacromet coated which will prevent corrosion. You'll need two sets of these. One for each axle.
Then for an electric over hydraulic actuator kit we recommend the Hydrastar brand the highest since it has the quickest reaction time and is the most reliable. For a kit that has all the tandem brake lines needed plus a breakaway system you would want the part # CAR-HBA16-2.
With those two part numbers you'd have everything you'd need aside from a brake controller compatible with this style of brakes. For that the Prodigy P2 part # 90885 would be a great option. Not every controller out there is compatible with this style of brakes but the P2 is.
