Recommended Air Ride Pin Box for Fuzion 375 with LCI 1116 Pinbox Compatible with Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
I currently have an Anderson Ultimate 5th hitch and am upgrading 5TH I had a 5th Airborn on my old 38foot KZ and liked the reduction in disturbances from deterioated road conditions we now have USA. I was told by Reese that my use of the Anderson Goose Neck would violate Their lifetime warranty. I have had the Anderson Ultimate/Reese Airborn system for over a year with the Anderson adaptor in the aft of the kinpin position to clear bed side walls when pivoting. This position reduces the leverage the airbags has and requires me to prefill to 100psi before hitching. I see that LCI voids their warrsnty on the Trailair product if used with a gooseneck adaptor, so end result is neither airride product will be covered what other options do you recommend .

For your Fuzion 375 with LCI 116 pinbox, I recommend the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter - Lippert 1716 - 16,000 lbs # RP94716-61301 which is also a confirmed fit for Lippert 0115 and Lippert 1116 pin boxes like yours. This will give you the air ride option compatible with your gooseneck. This will offer you the best ride because no adapter is needed.
Your other option is to use a different hitch with your current 5th Airborne. For this, I recommend the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Single Jaw - 21,000 lbs # DM8550045 which is compatible with air ride pin boxes.
