Recommended Trunk Mounted Platform Bike Rack for 2012 Nissan Versa
Question:
I drive a 2012 nissan versa 4 door sedan. Looking for a rack for carrying 2 - 3 mountain bikes different brand 29rs that do not have horizontal top bars e.g. pivot, and santa cruz full suspension bikes. Is the thule outway 2-bike - platform rack - trunk mount w/adjustable arms the best option? Even though this rack has the platforms will an adapter bar be necessary? Worried about clearance from ground! OR Should I go with a roof mounted rack? If so which do you recommend for the mountain bikes that weigh about 28 lbs each?

For your 2012 Nissan Versa, the Thule OutWay 2-Bike Platform Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms # TH65JV will allow you to carry 2 bikes with the alternative frames you mentioned and is confirmed to fit your vehicle.
