For your 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2"# 75776. Because you don't have the cutout already made with the trim piece, you will simply need to make those cuts in the trim. If you follow the lines of the bumper you can already see where this cutout should be. If you don't feel comfortable doing this trimming, I recommend you take it to a body shop you trust for installation.

For your trailer wiring, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56184. This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your Hyundai Santa Fe's wiring harness, which is located in your rear cargo area. You will have to remove the rear scuff panel and interior side panels to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery.

If you plan on doing some towing, I recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts so you have options to tow level. One has a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and the other has a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
